Jason E. Norred, Senior Manager of Managed Services Operations

Jason E. NorredJason Norred manages the daily operations and strategic direction of NSPI’s Managed Services Operations Team which includes Service Desk, Event Management and Remote Field Services functions. Norred also manages NSPI’s internal Service Management tools and processes as well as lead NSPI’s Continual Service Improvement efforts.

Norred brings more than 15 years IT experience including 10 years in a managed services environment to his role. Prior to joining NSPI, Norred was the Manager of Software Design, Analysis and Planning at SunGard Availability Services where he led a product development team focused on software supporting managed IT services. He’s also led successful ITIL methodology and Service Improvement adoptions for two service providers and built a global Service Desk and NOC teams supporting thousands of customers with tens of thousands managed devices.

Norred earned a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology and has held technical certifications from Microsoft, SUN and Cisco. He carries current certifications in IT Service Management, Product Development and Agile Project Management.

An Atlanta native, Norred is an independent musician and filmmaker with two albums and four films to his name. He enjoys playing poker and chess plus spending time with his wife and two children.
